UK-based designer Michael Hannaford has created a green set of serving utensils made from upcycled glass spirit bottles. Dubbed Spoonboozer, the set is refined, strong, and it reuses resources, making it an attractive and ecologically sound addition to any table.
Spoonboozer is part of an open-source collective called Co-oproduct, that groups plenty of innovative design ideas that you can make yourself at home by following simple instructions. They caught our eye at this year’s Dutch Design Week, and we just love them because of their simplicity, beautiful aesthetics and clever use of materials. By cutting, sanding and attaching wooden handles to the bottles’ top Hannaford turned old rubbish into a useful product.
