Michael Jantzen‘s Transformation House is designed to be constructed from lightweight steel and partially clad with photovoltaic cells to power the structure using sunlight. Its playful and imaginative design allows the whole shape to be altered, so it can adjust to a wide range of environmental conditions and its inhabitants can experience a range of views.
Inside, furnishings are stored inside four containers that rotate out of the glass floor when they are needed. Each modular segment is the same shape, and additional segments can be added to increase the size of the home. Windows can be rotated 360 degrees, helping to direct sunlight inside the internal space to ensure that it can be personalized to suit individual needs.
