studio-velocity-slice-of-pieThis tiny hairdressing salon in Nagoya is a serious eye-popper! At just 41 square meters and slated for an awkward slice of property, the design called for some truly creative thinking. Studio Velocity was concerned that the small studio would be engulfed by its plainer, taller neighbors. So they pushed the building back on its lot, narrowed its entrance, and stretched out the rear end. The result is a darling, sustainable studio shaped just like a piece of vanilla bean pie!1
