m2atk Container HomeDesigned as an artist's escape, this container house's aesthetic is as simple and to the point as its name - Container House. While composed of just three stark white shipping containers, the home provides ample, natural light-filled space for a modern day Warhol to muse upon his next masterpiece. The blank walls also serve as a secondary canvas on which to paint it!1
m2atk Container HomeThe Container House was designed by M2ATK for an artist client who asked for the ground floor to be a living room and kitchen, the second level to be the bedroom and the top floor to be a studio in which "to let to fly the imagination."2
m2atk Container HomeOne whole side of each container has been opened up to allow for daylight to spill generously into each room, making for a peaceful and relaxing environment conducive to creativity.3
m2atk Container HomeInstead of simply stacking all 3 shipping containers right on top on one another, M2ATK staggered them slightly, creating terrace-like areas on the second and third levels and a shaded overhang for the first level.4
m2atk Container HomeThe Container House is fully equipped with heating, a bathroom, a kitchen and climate control systems.5
m2atk Container HomeSince the home consists if just three containers, it's easy to install and can be removed if the property is ever sold.6
