More and more people are choosing to combine their work and domestic life into one succinct unit - like the gorgeous Atelier Heikkilä in Central Finland. Architects Rudanko + Kankkunen designed the 220 square meter home studio for an interior architect and art historian who needed storage space for prototypes. Oriented for maximum winter solar gain and heated with geothermal energy, this delightful little space definitely points the way forward.
