Modern Prefabricated LoftCube Pops Up at 19th Century Belgian Castle

<a href="http://www.loftcube.net/main.html">The LoftCube</a> by <a href="http://www.aisslinger.de/">Werner Aisslinger</a> was originally designed with crowded cities and nomads in mind, but now one of these modern cocoons has sprung up on the grounds of a 19th century castle in Belgium. The castle, which includes the regal <a href="http://www.chateaudelaposte.be/Accueil">Chateau de la Poste hotel</a> and restaurant just 45 minutes away from Brussels, has 42 hectares of green grounds that offer an usual location for a mini prefabricated pod house.

A 19th century castle gets a modern upgrade

The LoftCube designed for the city has a country application too

Designed by Werner Aisslinger, the cube is 30 square meters

It is tucked away on the massive green grounds as a cool escape just outside of Belgium

This is definitely the most unique of the hotel's rooms and it gets plenty of natural light!

The original castle was built in the 19th century.
