Nathan Sawaya’s Bedroom Made of Legos is Terribly Uncomfortable

If you enjoyed our story about this unbelieveable <a href="http://inhabitat.com/incredible-lego-kitchen-renovation/">LEGO kitchen</a>, you'll probably be pleased to find out that we just stumbled upon a bedroom made of LEGOs to match! One of NYC artist <a href="http://www.brickartist.com/">Nathan Sawaya</a>'s incredible <a href="http://inhabitat.com/artist-jan-vormann-uses-legos-to-repair-war-damaged-buildings/">LEGO artworks</a>, the brickified bedroom features a mirror, dresser, night stand, bed, bedspread and even a cello - all made from our favorite childhood building block. There's no doubt that the space is a work of modern art, but we have to admit that it looks pretty darn uncomfortable - especially the jagged LEGO pillow!

Though cool to look at, this pillow is not one you want to sleep on.

Everything in the room, aside from the actual floor and walls, was <a href="http://inhabitat.com/incredible-lego-kitchen-renovation/">made from LEGOs</a> right down to the cello (which can actually be played).

The drawers may look simplistic, but get this - they actually open and close!

Sawaya builds his blocky creations in his <a href="http://www.inhabitat.com/nyc">NYC</a> studio, which is currently filled with nearly 1.5 million LEGOs. Instead of using new materials, most of the bricks he uses are reclaimed from kids who have outgrown them.

This LEGO bike by Saway isn't in the room but it would sure make a cool addition.
