Nokia has caught our green design attention once again with the recent unveiling of ‘Remade’, a concept phone made almost entirely of recycled materials. The prototype was introduced at Mobile World Congress conference in Barcelona last week revealing Nokia’s vision for recycled material use in mobile phones of the future. From the looks of ‘Remade’, Nokia’s products of tomorrow will consume less natural resources, reduce landfill waste and be more energy efficient.

That’s a pretty nice-looking phone, too. But I hope those big unlabeled buttons are a little easier to use than they look like in this picture. At least I assume they’re going to be buttons, and not just a really big abstract logo-ish design!
and it’s a good looking phone, too.
Great stuff, adressing lots of product life-cycle issues. Next step is to recycle this phone, in about two years.
You forgot a minor detail: that phone doesn’t work. It’s important to understand the Remade as what it is — a conceptual design that is starting to clear the path toward greener electronics.
I want one
where do I get one?
