Like many of his other homes, the architect designed many living areas to incorporate the native rock the home is built on, into the interior. Guests are greeted by a 12 foot by 60 foot rock in the main foyer. More rock appears in the bathroom and kitchen.

    This house is so NOT Wright. That stonework is awful, the fireplace is wrong and the stonework in the bedroom is totally different and the owner builder changed dimensions and other details. It’s not authentic at all.

    @EScott: All Wright’s houses from the 1930s onward have radiant floors.

    Wouldn’t you rather have your own private island in Port Orange, Florida. There you can build your dream home island getaway.

    Wright included radiant floor heating in at least one of his designs that I know of so not that big of an ‘upgrade’
