The Harlem River Working Group, the Trust for Public Land, the Pratt Center for Community Development, and students in a planning studio at Pratt Institute's PSPD and CommD Departments, have put forward a comprehensive plan to redevelop and enhance the waterfront of the Harlem River in the Bronx. The Working Group, a coalition of almost 50 community groups, agencies, and elected officials, presented findings from three Community Visioning Sessions, incorporating suggestions from residents with a litany of designs and master plans conceived during previous studies of the area. The results of these visioning sessions were unveiled at a public meeting at the Bronx Museum of Arts, opening the discussion for the plan's refinement to local residents.
