The Participation Agency got the idea for Timeshare Backyard out of nostalgia from their pre-NYC lives, which included a bit more grass.

The Timeshare Backyard has added a few goodies since last year including picnic tables, lounge chairs, umbrellas and a grill. The space also includes a bathroom, squirt guns, hula hoops and street art.

This patch of grass is available at budget rates—just $100 for an hour and you can invite up to 30 friends to share this green space with you.

The Participation Agency is an experiential marketing company that came up with the idea out of nostalgia for their pre-NYC lives, which included a bit more grass and a lot more grilled meat. They wanted to provide New Yorkers with a suburban feeling in the middle of the city.
