Gallery: Shigeru Ban Completes First US Retail Project, Camper Store in...

Renowned architect Shigeru Ban has completed the Camper store in Soho - his first retail project in the United States. Located on the corner of Wooster and Prince, the Spanish shoemaker's iconic store is now distinguished by Ban's signature industrial paper tubes, a series of which are aligned to create a pitched roof amid a host of taller, flat-roofed industrial buildings. NYC's Dean Maltz Architects also helped bring this fresh new store to life in time for last week's grand opening.
