Artist Retreat-Resolution 4 ArchitectureThis modern summer retreat in Water Mill, NY was built for an artist and her mother as an escape from the city. Designed by Resolution: 4 Architecture, the home was prefabricated to minimize waste and impact on the site. The Artist's Retreat also makes use of geothermal heating and cooling and is topped off with an impressive 9 kW photovoltaic system that generates electricity for use in the home and to sell back to the grid.1
