Made from a sustainable material that is light, common, flat pack and low-cost, these magnificent big-scale man and dogs will survive until it rains on them.

Box was constructed from 882 pounds of packaging boxes taped together by artist Pablo Curutchet and ten of his friends. The team used local company Cartoco‘s cardboard boxes and built the structure first in a local warehouse and then placed it at its designated site. Erected using ropes on a dark winter night, Box finally stood up to meet the astonished looks of Cordoba’s inhabitants.

But Box has two friends — friends that were commissioned by Argentine businessman Alan Faena to be installed at a park in the Puerto Madero area of Buenos Aires. Dubbed ‘Simpático’ (Friendly) these 3-meter high puppies were placed in the right environment to play and be enjoyed by locals and tourists. Made from a sustainable material that is light, common, flat pack and low-cost, these magnificent large-scale creations will survive until the rain says otherwise.
