Gallery: ‘Pile on Game’ Creates Stackable Stones from Waste Wood

The last time we checked, Jenga wasn’t constructing their pieces from sustainable wood, but here’s a clever design that takes a game of strategic block stacking to an eco-friendly level. Created by designers Mamoru Fukui, Daimon Kanno and Yuta Fuki, the “Pile on Game” is a set of nine stones made from factory waste wood cutoffs, hand-sanded and polished to create multi-faceted flat surfaces with an attractive sheen. While just nine stones to a set, the potential to stack and challenge your friends’ dexterity is endless.
