Designed by Swiss design duo artist-duo L/B (Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann), Hotel Everland is prefabricated from a wood frame, then literally dropped onto a site to bring modern design and hotel-quality comfort to all corners of the globe. We applaud L/B for their clever application of prefab housing to a more commercial sector. An from what we can tell, the interior space looks quite hospitable!

GreatDesign ! ‘L/B’ are true masters of style,space & form. Now… what if the covered entryway was converted into an entry / kitchen area ? That way groups of these modules could be stacked inside a steel superstructure, creating a 5 story, or higher, Hotel… or Dwelling Unit grouping ? Boom the units into place, lock them down (tandemloc.com fasterners ?) and go !

I love this!!! Love the colours, the round corners, the retro seats, the strategically placed windows, the jut-out porch…my only problem is I live in Singapore; land is ridiculously expensive to place one of these…plus felt walls (it’s some kinda felt, yeah?) aren’t exactly easy to maintain in a humid place.
Someone please help me…how is this sustainable? I’m sure I’m missing something blindingly obvious.

uhm, do you mean BP as in british petroleum? yeah… that must be an american thing…
its all well and good. the colours are horrible but thats besides the point that you have to power it and it cannot be cheap. BP station is right!!!!, potential law suit i forsee. It looks like a waste of space personally id prefer that “bambi air stream” because at least i could imagine living there. This place on the other hand looks like some where a rich person goes to get away from it all, but im not rich!!!!.
Actually, it more resembles the GMC PAD concept without the wheels. I likey!!!
