Prefabricated BF House Floats Above the Landscape of Castellón Province in Spain

    The hilltop BF House is designed to have minimal impact on the surrounding landscape; by opting for a <a href="http://inhabitat.com/sustainable-living-innovations-debuts-innovative-prefab-building-system/">prefabricated building system</a>, architects at <a href="http://www.ferrater.com/">Office of Architecture in Barcelona (OAB)</a> managed to avoid cutting down existing trees and left the terraced configuration of the property undisturbed. The whole structure rests on three metal, V-shaped pillars and appears to be suspended in the air, providing magnificent views of the Castellón Province in Spain.

    The hot water supply for domestic use as well as under-floor heating is ensured through use of solar panels, combined with heat pipe technology.
