    What do you mean he isn’t likely to become King? (Good article though).

    Those going on about the visual effects seem to have lost the plot, this is about sensible Eco building materials and saving money plus fuel with best possible insulation/air control.
    The subject of Eco living is too important to be reactionary for or against Prince Charles, at least he’s trying, what are you all doing?
    Agreed, I would like to see further plans for going off grid,and sustainable living.

    This is natural? It looks like any ordinary english house. Turkish homes had these features years ago.. How about actually building houses that are earthquake, flood, tsunami proof and self sufficient at the same time. How about a house that is off the grid so we don’t have to cope utility bills that goes up every month? How about a fresh new look modern space age design? Oh no we are not ready yet..Just keep the old english design. Why? Because your Prince thinks so! Cheers.

    It’s not a terrible house, just lacks the ornament and detailing of previous houses.

    @Gar
    I highly doubt the Prince himself designed it since he’s not a fan of modern housing styles, but that’s besides the point. Although the interior decoration is questionable, it is only minor. The house itself is well suited to the compact housing model of the UK and pulls off a modern elegance through it’s simplicity and choice of detailing. I’m for it.

    All that science and technology to produce and build an ugly, tacky house that looks like a down market bordello. That Prince Charlie, he really knows how to pick his architecture doesn’t he. What a doofus.
