Although Puma is best known for their sweet kicks, this beloved brand has been busy pumping out a portfolio of bikes, and their latest design created with KiBiSi and Biomega is one beautiful green ride. Offering all the convenient features of both a commuter and cargo bike in one sleek aluminum frame, the Mopion could easily be considered the cool new Cadillac of bikes.
Developed for city dwellers, the Mopion features a geometry that holds the frame at a slight incline, but still sets the rider up for easy navigation and exceptional balancing. Built to withstand the daily grind, the bike also comes with a super-sized innovative front carrier for heavy-duty transport of groceries and other big-ticket items. And with a lightweight aluminum frame and smooth commuter-style steering, the extra length definitely won’t drag you down.
The Mopion will be launched at the Eurobike and Interbike shows in September 2010, and will hitting stores the spring of 2011 in white, black and a color combination of magenta/blue/lime.
