Gallery: Recycled Suitcase Chair Perfect for Globe-Trotting Couch Potat...

Nothing says “it’s time to get away” better than a packed suitcase – so when we spotted this awesome chair made from a recycled suitcase we couldn’t help but be enamored. Part of an extraordinary range of furniture designed by green enthusiast Katie Thomspon, the suitcase chair is made from an old Samsonite suitcase, a steel reinforced internal structure, upholstered linen and turned timber legs. A beautiful and interesting design, Thompson’s chair lets you travel the world even while sitting at home. And if Samsonite isn’t your bag, Thomspon has a whole range of recycled suitcases dating as far back as the 20′s.
