From our favorite Dutch design duo Tejo Remy and Rene VeenHuizen comes an awesome reclaimed material rug to cozy up to. Made from recycled blankets, the rug takes cuddly comfort and turns it into a great example of recycled design that your toes will love. Tejo Remy spoke at our Reclaiming Design event on the issues of reclaimed materials in design, and this is a shining example of turning potential trash into great design treasure.

WOW. THESE ARE COOL
Super, congratulations!
These are beautiful. How can I find out more about them in English?
What a wonderful way to reuse! I am a GREEN interior designer always looking for new products.

The rugs are beautiful, and they look very well crafted. I love the organic amoeboid shapes. But I do have to point out that as a strategy, this is nothing new (although nice to see it being rediscovered and reinterpreted). This is what thrifty people in New England (USA) and many other areas have done for generations: rag rugs. Long may they last!
