    It’s nice to these walls being cleaned if only as an advertisement. Why do they have all these hideous walls to begin with. Fences and gates which are permeable to light and see through not only offer security but are aesthetically more attractive.

    For years Germany has debated whether November 9th should be a national holiday (the beginning of the demolition of the Berlin Wall). Maybe spend November 9th by demolishing one ugly wall.
