Gallery: Ruins of 16th Century Spanish House Converted to Modern Academ...

One of the last traditional houses in an industrialized section of Paretes de Valles, Spain has undergone a major restoration and a contemporary update. The 16th century house was in near ruins when Architects collaborated with Luis Twose to come up with a radical plan to open the space up to a new program while bringing daylight into all corners of the building. The finished pharmaceutical training facility is now a subtle fusion of old and contemporary architecture, providing usable indoor and outdoor space while restoring the sensibility of the original house.
