Life-Size 300 Lb. Stormtrooper Cake Devoured by 600 Sci-Fi Geeks

    How many sci-fi geeks does it take to devour a <a href="http://blog.oakleafcakes.com/stormtrooper-cake/">6-foot Stormtrooper cake</a>? 600, apparently! Attendees at last weekend's <a href="http://2012.arisia.org/">Arisa Sci-Fi convention </a>were joined by the life-size Star Wars character made of 300 lbs of delicious cake mix and icing. Carefully crafted by a nine-person team at <a href="http://oakleafcakes.com">Amanda Oakleaf Cakes</a>, the delightful desert was meticulously designed and assembled over two weeks, and thanks to the huge reception of awaiting fans, not a slice of the evil <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars">Star Wars</a> soldier went to waste.
