This incredible pixelated skyscraper by Singapore-based Design Act was a finalist in a competition to design a pavilion for the World Expo 2010. Entitled “My Dream, Our Vision”, the project uses permutated cubes to generate a spectacular modular sculpture that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Singapore as an efficient, dynamic, cosmopolitan, and forward-looking nation.

that’s really ugly!
I’m torn. It’s either disgusting or the most beautiful building ever invented. At least it’s not another supertall skyscraper, ala the ugly Burj, Chicago Spire, or the presumably brutal Seoul monstrosity (http://www.sceneadvisor.com/todays-headlines/seoul-to-build-worlds-second-tallest-building-11398.html).
How innovative! . It’s futuristic design will probably be in vogue before the end of the century. Sprinkle in a few of these novel buildings now for good luck.
Great out of the box thinking. I love it
Amazing design and will be an attention getter for Singapore at the Shanghai World Expo and isn\’t that what it\’s all about, \”Getting visitors attention?\”
But does it do anything other than gain attention? What does this type of design add to greening?
Wish all concerned good fortune and keep the \”off the wall\” ideas coming, otther designs I\’ve seen for the Expo are boring.
apparently people who designed this failed to consider how HOT singapore’s weather is…..all that glass? phew. but it still looks awesome.
great structure. i like it
