Gallery: The European Solar Decathlon ...
The Napevomo house features a cylindrical-parabolic concentrator that directs solar flux so that it can be absorbed by high-efficiency solar cells.
Teams from all over the world have traveled to Madrid with their prefabricated solar-powered houses, and seventeen teams are listed as competitors. Two teams from the USA crossed over the pond to compete head-to-head with teams from Germany, Spain, France, China, the UK, Finland and India. So far, the teams’ designs and plans for their houses are impressive and creative and only a true test of the homes capabilities will reveal the winner.
It seems to be the same everywhere “oh”…..that’s why “shedding” has become so popular. Small homes under 200 square feet require no permits.

Nice buildings. I have tried for 3 years now to got get a building permit for a prefab house in Denmark. It is not allowed to build like that inside city limits. Forget everything you hear about new low energy building in denmark, It is almost only drawings, nothing really is being build. Because it is not allow by the danish build codex.
