SIREWALLInhabitat reader Nadia Gilles sent us a few images of projects that have been constructed using an amazing eco-friendly building system - SIREWALL - and we're excited to share them with you. SIREWALL is a high performance rammed earth building system that makes earth architecture a viable alternative to other less eco-friendly construction methods. In 2008 the World Architectural Festival awarded a category prize to the Nk’Mip Desert Culture Centre in Canada, which was built entirely out of this incredible material. More details after the jump, along with a fascinating video produced by SIREWALL that depicts the environmental impact of building an ordinary home.1
