We've featured the work of Elding Oscarson before, and just like his mind-bending No Picnic renovation, this bright white townhouse is a piece of architecture that challenges its surroundings. At obvious odds with its stoic Landskrona neighbors in Sweden, the home stands out like a sore thumb and makes a definite mark on its otherwise sleepy neighborhood. Despite having only 125 square meters to work with, the designer was able to satisfy the homeowners' request for plenty of wall space on which to hang their art by building vertically, while natural lighting and insulated glass serve to reduce the building's energy consumption.
