The Taiwan Tower is set of ultra slim twin skyscrapers housing a cultural center and museum, all topped by a lofty sky park. Designed by architects Steven Ma, San Liu, Xinyu Wan, and Emre Icdem, the towers soar to a height of 350 meters with hanging gardens lining the length of its facade. The greenery clad building also features eco-innovations such as water recycling plants, wind turbines and solar panels.
The towers house not one but three museums that showcase Taiwan‘s past, present and future. Visitors to the exhibitions will also be able to enjoy public spaces like a water plaza, an outdoor theatre, a green house, and an event plaza. Other portions of the building will be made into high-end residences, an aviary for endangered bird species, restaurants and even a vertical farm. At the top of the towers, two floating podiums and a sky-walk suspended between them give visitors the chance to “walk in the sky.”
