The Great Wall apartment-factories are being built in an organic and flexible way that allows the structure to grow with time, adapting to change. The apartment-factories will be sandwiched by two differentiated type of retail, and lots of luscious green, outdoor spaces will be included within the building, integrating small courtyards, wide open spaces and green terrace.
Since The Great Wall apartment-factories will be located quite close to the eastern end of the monumental Great Wall of China, the architects based referenced the eight traditional Hakka Housing of the area, with a green core surrounded by an enclosure of shopping and living.
