Minnesota Vikings Unveil Plans for Energy-Efficient Stadium With the World’s Largest Transparent Roof

<a href="http://www.vikings.com/news/article-1/Vikings-MSFA-and-HKS-Group-Unveil-New-Multi-Purpose-Stadium-Design/a22f251d-0e66-4c42-aab3-a32269114660">The Minnesota Vikings football team</a> just unveiled plans for a new energy-efficient stadium slated to be ready for the 2016 playing season. The $975 million stadium designed by <a href="http://hksinc.com/#/sports/">HKS Sports &amp; Entertainment Group</a> (who also designed stadiums for the Cowboys and the Dodgers) features the world's largest transparent roof, zinc framing and walls of glass. The stunning new stadium is set to be complete by 2016.
