I covet many of these tiny one-off homes, but at the same time, it’s impractical for me to think I would ever live in one as the cost of the land would be hundreds of thousands. Also I need electricity and an Internet connection, so I have to think hydrogen fuel cells. My feeling is I should be able to walk into IKEA, plunk down $10,000 (yes that ten thousand) for a complete house — complete as in self generating electricity and water purification that can plunked down anywhere and be liveable. That’s a habitat!
