The designers aimed for the space to be a site of inspiration, that can be used for conferences and meeting areas.
The two constructions are built above a sloping area that leads to a private beach and dock. Their structures are designed to reflect the shape of a curling leaf, and welcome light within them throughout the day. They consist of a single surface that extends upwards above itself as an extension of a floor into a building.
The designers aimed for the space to be a site of inspiration, that can be used for conferences and meeting areas. They say they aim to be “an opportunity for connected living” in which people can meet for residencies and summer gatherings. It certainly looks like an inspiring project to draw visitors to the natural beauty of Scandinavia.
