Finally, a Tesla that anyone can afford! Every once in a while we like to showcase some of the quirkier elements of our transportation culture, and recently Hot Wheels decided to get into the green spirit and rolled out a pretty darn good looking Tesla Roadster! Available is both blue and red, this is probably the coolest and most affordable Tesla to ever grace the planet.

Of course, it sure would’ve been nice if Hot Wheels had truly gotten into the act and created an awesome-looking green toy with minimal packaging and sustainably sourced materials, but we have to admit that the thought is nice. The Tesla Roadster is part of their 2008 first edition line and is available now (look for model #26). It was made in collaboration with Tesla, so you rest assured that it looks just like the real one, just a tad smaller. And before you ask, sadly it is not electric.
