It is spacious and modern, incorporating an angled ceiling and a high side light to bring in more light.
The former coffee-roasting building in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, has been entirely remodeled within the original shell of the structure. With a variety of spaces such as individual desks and open meeting areas, the existing long space of Kawanishi Fam has been converted into a more adaptable and accessible layout.
The minimalist style of the space creates an inspiring atmosphere, where light can flood in from different directions. It is spacious and modern, incorporating an angled ceiling and a high side light to bring in more light. At the far end of the room a wooden wall has been built to house a utility area and bathroom, giving the appearance of a little hut, concealing the area.
