Forget today’s primitive energy storage devices — one day we may use “ultra batteries” made out of xenon and fluoride. Currently under development at Washington State University, these ultra-batteries can store more condensed energy than any other type of battery in existence.

And where and how do we dispose of these batteries? How harmful are they to the environment? Let\\\’s remember that xenon displaces oxygen which is a source of life. Enough xenon on this planet can cause much problems in the long run.

Great to see further developments of different energy storage. I to am curious about the long term enviromental impact of Xenon, however this compound would have to be pretty bad to be worse than current impact of lead/acid and Lithium Batteries. Can this Xenon battery be recycled?

    Honourable Members.
I write from the Polish.I am interested in the bike batteries.I have a question:whether the battery can produce electricity?

I’d like an electric bike conversion kit with one of these batteries too, if it’ll work and be safe to the environment.
