Gallery: v100 Mod Box: the Next Generation in Prefab Design

 
Mix a little bit of Bladerunner with prefab home design and you get the v100 Mod Box. These ultra modern 10 x 10 x 10 ft prefab cubes could be the next generation of prefab design. Started by Phoenix restaurateur Vincenz Saccento, the v100 Mod Box is a prefab system that can create any size home by connecting together multiple cubes, which are separated by breezeways with translucent glass walls. The Mod Box is futuristic-looking to be sure, but three of these cubes will soon be installed in Phoenix.

    I saw the mod box in person recently, it’s amazing. It feels much bigger inside then I expected. I would gladly trade my house in for this space.
