I’d like to win this water bottle. thanks

  2. room2grow March 26, 2010 at 3:15 pm

I need one of these because at one time I had a good job with good pay. I lost that job and was forced to take one for less than half the pay at a university warehouse. The people at the university knew nothing about warehouses so when they set their operation up here the fact that there is a climate controlled fully functioning office and a kitchen and bathrooms with their own heating and cooling systems did not tip them off that the rest of the warehouse was only made for the storage of products not humans working.
The large loading dock doors are not insulated and air comes through them, under them and all around them. They are made so that a semi truck backing up to them will seal them keeping the wind rain and snow out (also birds) but we take most shipments in by Fed ex or UPS in smaller trucks so we get rained or snowed on while we unload trucks.
Warehouses that are made for humans to hang out near the loading docks in will have insulated doors AND have another set of doors leaving a buffer zone to keep the elements out. They will also have lower ceilings than this one has.

So anyway because I’m working in sub par conditions I’m exposed to extreme heat in the Summer, frigid cold in the winter and lots and lots of dust which makes me constantly have to wear a winter parka and mittens at my desk and put in Huge fans in the winter but I have to be careful where I point them because one of the woman who works in the climate controlled office told me I was blowing the dust on her products.

Yes, dust does get blown around making it increasingly hard to drink water for fear it will be full of pallet dust (not good for you) for this reason, I don’t drink at all during my work day.
Oh and my Asthma has gotten really bad.

Outside of work I eat only organic, I drink filtered water and take pretty good care of myself but it is probably all canceled out by my work place.

The very least I can hope for in my life is clean water to drink during the day.

  3. knightdesigns March 26, 2010 at 2:56 pm

I need a Bobble because I NEVER drink water at home and this could save my hydration!!!!! (not too mention adding to the coolness factor by adding to my Karim Rashid collection)..

  4. sinanyuzakli March 26, 2010 at 2:53 pm

I simply need it for two reasons: 1. I like water. 2. I like design. Isn’t that enough?

  5. tobacco brown March 26, 2010 at 2:47 pm

Good practical, functional and quality design for life’s simple elixir…Congratulations !

  6. kbeekman March 26, 2010 at 2:41 pm

    I’m thirsty.

  7. Tameeka March 26, 2010 at 2:16 pm

A Bobble would be great in my hot climate. I can take it to work and refill it for the gym. The beach, a walk to the park, so many great uses!

  8. Emma March 26, 2010 at 8:03 am

I love Karim Rashid! I could really use this beautiful water bottle as I am constantly out walking and getting about as a breastfeeding new mother. And what a good thing to have filtered water both for me and my baby.

  9. No0 March 26, 2010 at 5:23 am

I NEED this bottle, because i planed to ride over the alps in august. and what is a better first conversation theme on a mountain spring with other bikers. instead of smoking a cigarette or drinking beer I would like to take the healthy way, havin a BOBBLE WITH ME, TO BRING IT FROM GERMANY TO ITALY.

    greetings from germany

  10. Selma March 26, 2010 at 4:53 am

I desperately need one. I work on Water Treatment Plant constrction and the idea of having such perfectly designed and healthy bottle would make me happy!

  11. Emma.johannessen March 26, 2010 at 4:40 am

I love Karim Rashid’s stuff and I depend on a water bottle being a breastfeeding mom always out walking! And the filter will protect baby and me from all the nasties in our local water!

  12. heyitsm3jen March 26, 2010 at 12:56 am

    IM A FISH!

I breathe water. Like every fish I like my home free of contamination, free of plastic waste, and of course CLEAN water.

    genius design!

  13. lively March 26, 2010 at 12:12 am

I would love to get a hold of a Bobble!!!! I drink so much water, everywhere i go i travel with a bottle of water. After watching Annie Leonard’s Story of Bottled Water, i cannot help but feel guilty, and i truly want to turn my habit around!

  14. bsranidzn March 25, 2010 at 10:34 pm

Hey! I would love to have one of these bottles. They seem very useful and look great!!

I’m a college student (architecture!) so I’m always on the go…walking from classes to classes. There are things that I always have with me: backpack, ipod, and WATER BOTTLE. I spend most of my time in the studio working on design projects where there is only a water fountain and a vending machine. I don’t drink soda, only water and iced tea, so I usually reuse water bottles and fill them up at the water fountain. The water does not taste too good though…

Even when I’m not living at school, I would use this bottle. I still keep water bottles with me everywhere and my friends and I love to spend time outside. I went home last week for spring break and my friends and I went on a two day hike in Joshua Tree National Park (CA). It would have been really nice to have brought this bottle.

  15. kinitoki March 25, 2010 at 10:20 pm

I need a bobble because my Kor One is broken; well at least the cap is broken. My reusable bottle is on its last leg. I need a more functional bottle and a filter is a good addition to any daily water bottle. Thanks in advance!

  16. robnin March 25, 2010 at 8:26 pm

I like it, it’s simple but actually it’s hard to design something simple and useful at the same time.
am a designer too, if they have more options for colors, it will be better.

  17. robnin March 25, 2010 at 8:23 pm

  18. cucoso March 25, 2010 at 8:04 pm

i will make it simple…just because i use to drink lots of water per day and buying like 3 bottles of water per day doesn’t make it sustainable at all, and it’s also not easy to find a place to re- fill my bottle with potable water, so ill be thrilled to have my Bobble Bottle by my side everywhere ill go! ill be proud to carry it! :)

I want Karim rashids water bobble for several reasons.
As a 14 year old (my birthday is in a few weeks so this would be a good birthday gift.) I have seen the world transform into an Eco world where going green is actually quite stylish thing, and this principle is reflected through the water bobble.I love travelling, yet many places I go the water is not always safe, by getting a water bobble I could have safe drinking water while looking pretty darn snazzy!

PLease give me the Water Bobble and take me one step closer to a greener, Less plasticy world!
    Many Thanks.

  20. SereniTee March 25, 2010 at 5:22 pm

The town in which I live treats its water with neither flouride nor chlorine. While it tastes delicious, there’s no telling what it’s contaminated with. The folks at city hall drink only bottled water; what does that say? :(

  21. spthealien March 25, 2010 at 5:06 pm

I drink a lot of water. Typically 100 ounces while at work. Unfortunately, there is no drinking water option. Luckily, I’ve been able to take the fountain water without getting sick–but this would definitely allow for better quality fluids.

  22. garchs March 25, 2010 at 5:04 pm

a bobble bottle is essential because its hightime we abandoned the habit of plastic bottles.

    Here’s a haiku:

    Bobble, bobble, HEY
    My water tastes better, YAY
    Fight the plastic, NAY

Bobbled water beats bottled water everyday!

  24. Berry March 25, 2010 at 3:59 pm

I need this bottle because I am a big fan of great design and a big fan clean water. I never use tap water because it smells and tastes horrible. Instead I use bottled water. Plus I want to show off to my friends! Owner of a Karim Rashid design object?? Oh la la!

  25. domingua March 25, 2010 at 3:35 pm

I NEED a Bobble Bottle. Not only is the name adorable, the design is genius. I’ve been hunting around for the perfect water bottle for months, but for now I’m using my cheapo oldie but goodie bottle.

I spend a lot of time in Mexico, where the tap water is not always trustworthy and I hate to admit it, but sometimes bottled water is the only available option. The Bobble is perfect because I could filter water and eliminate the waste that comes from buying bottled water.

On my campus, I’m visibly involved in the sustainability efforts. I am part of a class which attended the COP15 last December, and since coming back, we have had a huge campus-wide event and presentation of our experiences. I was one of the presenters and people know that they can come up to me or my classmates to discuss issues of climate change, the negotiations, and anything environmental. I am personally pushing for people to stop buying bottled water, so it would be great if I could lead by example with one of these babies. :-)

  26. moose13 March 25, 2010 at 3:35 pm

Hi! I live in New Jersey!!!! I am trying hard to find ways to go green which are financially within my reach! I would really appreciate a Bobble…my soul would feel better by doing one more thing to conserve! AND… New Jersey needs ALL the help it can get!!!!! Every little bit helps, right???!!!!

  27. DLori27 March 25, 2010 at 3:23 pm

It’s imperative I get a water bottle such as described above because I’ve been undergoing serious health problems recently and have to undergo extensive surgery in a few months. However, my doctor wants me to exercise to buikd up my strength and drink plenty of water. A water bottle that filters the water would be absolutely perfect to prevent further illness and obtain optimum health. To be honest, this is the first time I ever heard of this water bottle or any for that matter that does what this one does. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway and good luck to all!!!!!

  28. obwong March 25, 2010 at 3:07 pm

Waste Not – Want Not- How can I live without filtered water!! I go everywhere – bottles and bottles – if I can get one I can sure make good use of it working out. No more guessing if the water is clean and pure. Can you ask for anything better? Thanks for making water safer to drink!

  29. livedream March 25, 2010 at 3:04 pm

If I won a Bobble Bottle, I’d take it with me to Ghana when I travel there to help build new accomodation.
I’m sure with all the hard work in the sun, some clean drinking water will be essential!

  30. sk13rmom March 25, 2010 at 2:43 pm

I love the idea of the filter built in, there are so many hidden toxins we are exposed to daily this would give me piece of mind.

  31. kcg March 25, 2010 at 2:38 pm

I NEED a bobble because I carry a water bottle EVERYWHERE with me, but it eventually runs out and sometimes there are no fountains around to fill it up. If I had this bottle, I’d be able to easily gather water while hiking or out on long walks after a busy day. It’s so crucial for me to stay hydrated, but I refuse to buy a plastic bottle of water while I’m out, so I’ll just end up going thirsty most of the time. Also, this Bobble is far more beautiful than my water bottle, so it will be easy to encourage my friends to stop using plastic and switch to a Bobble while toting this lovely work of art around.

  32. vonP March 25, 2010 at 2:36 pm

im drying up. its bad. i forget to drink water. i don’t carry a bottle currently because the whole BPA things freaks me out. this would solve all my problems, and look cool doing it to. hook me up, before i wilt.

  33. shellthebell March 25, 2010 at 2:28 pm

The first thing I need when I wake up is water. I cannot handle eating/drinking anything else (not even the much needed morning coffee) until I’ve drank about 30 ounces. These ounces come from the always handy Nalgene bottle, which I love. I do not however love hearing about the harmful BPA’s that I consume every time I take that refreshing sip. I feel guilty about buying individual plastic bottles so I figure absorbing the BPA’s probably doesn’t do enough damage compared to damage done to the environment. But over time I could be seriously increasing my chances of illness. I finally need to break down and get a BPA free bottle, and one that I can filter on the go is even better (because I always am – going). If I don’t win one I’ll make the change to better my health and the world’s health. Thanks! I’ll take a green one!

  34. mc March 25, 2010 at 12:11 pm

There’s a lot of bottle in that bobble and do you know what, I’d love some of that colour for the summer – fantastic

  35. skajita March 25, 2010 at 6:58 am

I teach art and design at a university. I need a bottle so I can take it to school and show all my students and colleagues. What an innovative idea! We use way too much plastic and reducing use seems more efficient than recycling where possible.

  36. Pei-Ling Wu March 25, 2010 at 6:02 am

what a cool, fashionable and funtional design that make sustainability not just a ideal concept, but a daily life habit.

  37. MPRATHER March 25, 2010 at 3:27 am

I need the Karim Rashid Bobble because I tried to save the world by buying 10 environmentally friendly and flexible VAPUR water bottles only to find out that they tasted like plastic. More reasons below.

    1. Im a student and therefor am becoming poorer.
    2. I live on an island
    3. There is a strong chance that the next tsunami that hits will will blow the sewage pipes meaning the tourists will be flushing their sushi into the ala wai canal, I think this filter could end up saving my life.

  38. nzboulty March 25, 2010 at 3:13 am

I teach a Sustainable Practice class to product design students in New Zealand. I have been using the example of bottled water to represent how a ‘throw away’ culture is unsustainable. Karim Rashid’s bottle shows us that we can have clean water straight from the tap, combined with beauty and convenience delivered through a great piece of product design.

  39. graemeb3 March 25, 2010 at 1:53 am

I would like to win one for my girlfriend. She is still using one of the BPA filled plastic bottles from a few years ago. Why wouldn’t she just buy a new one? Because she is a student with not much money at the moment and has her water bottle purchases very low on her priority list. I would like her to have one of these so that she doesn’t ingest any more BPA and so that she can have something nice and new to be proud of that her classmates likely don’t have.

  40. timm March 25, 2010 at 12:16 am

this bottle would look great with my shoes.

  41. Nadera Karim March 25, 2010 at 12:01 am

Hi, i should win this bottle, cause the designer and i share same last name!! :) Also it will save me lots of money.

  42. kupo15 March 24, 2010 at 8:50 pm

I need this, because I play basketball constantly, and buying Gatorade or Vitamin Water always digs into the wallet. I’ve also been conscious about the harm of plastic, and would like to contribute in every possible way to eliminate that problem.

  43. jefflale March 24, 2010 at 7:48 pm

It’d be sooooo cool to win one of these!!

  44. dtahiliani March 24, 2010 at 4:23 pm

I really love to recycle. Recently my roommates and I decided to build a chicken coop. Instead of going out and buying supplies, we used found materials. Mainly furniture left on the street for the taking. We disasembled the furniture and used the parts to complete the “chicken house” complete with shingles. Even the chicken wire was found left out on the street in someones trash.

Extra wood was used to build a compost bin. We feed our chickens a mixture of compost and chicken feed. Every few days we move the leftover compost into the compost bin. The dirt is turned every other week and is used in our vegetable garden.

I also use a bike to commute. I use my car so rarely, I often find myself needing to give it jump start. I am sure one of these waterbottles would go quite nicely with my road bike.

  45. lucia March 24, 2010 at 3:55 pm

I need a bobble because i like to drink my water with “Sustainable Style”! Plus, I live in D.C. The water is among the many things that should not be trusted in this city 😉

  46. Ricardo March 24, 2010 at 3:48 pm

Woking as a sustainability consultant I´ve sumble uppon all kind of different green gadgets. However, this bottle represents one of the things that I value most, water and reuse!!
I need the Bobble because I believe that regular dsiposable plastic bottles are extremelly harmful to the environment, and having one with a built-in carbon filter would make the difference!!

  47. karefon March 24, 2010 at 3:24 pm

I need a bottle to aid in recycling. I drink a lot of water, a lot – problem is water from the faucet makes me sick, literally. To have a bottle that can filter that water – make sense and will save a ton of money. Everyone needs a bottle!

  48. rodrigogua March 24, 2010 at 3:14 pm

i need a Bobble bottle to take water to uni every day! this way i can have clean, safe environmentally friendly water!

  49. chegdan March 24, 2010 at 3:11 pm

Well…I would like one because its an interesting design and I would love to turn the tap water into something more reminiscent of fresh water rather than the water I just washed my hands with in the public bathroom next to my office. I’m in grad school and we have managed to get bottled water sales at our university stopped all together due to the empty bottle waste. it would be nice to have something like this to replace for all the students…but I have a question or two (since i’m guessing these are going to be read). How long does this filter last and how do we replace the filter when they wear out? Also, is there a program to recycle these by sending them back to the company or are they easily dismantled and recycled locally? if these are recycled, it would be nice to have some sort of return customer discount for recycling them.

  50. ashleybtl March 24, 2010 at 2:54 pm

i don’t NEED a boble water bottle but i would LOVE a bobble water bottle because i NEED to break my bottled water habit.

  51. Nivekian March 24, 2010 at 2:29 pm

I need it because I’m homeless and couldn’t afford to even buy water if I wanted, let alone a carbon filtered water bottle.

  52. mynameismo March 24, 2010 at 2:11 pm

    because i care…

  53. cgomes March 24, 2010 at 1:33 pm

    Why do I need it?

To avoid bleaching my insides. Yes, that’s the feeling you get when you drink tap water in my neck of the woods. On the bright side, though, you feel remarkably clean…

  54. Mrcha March 24, 2010 at 12:37 pm

Well, to be perfectly honest with you, I don’t need it.
I’m drinking water right from the tap and don’t bother with the fact if it is really healthy or not,

A person that I love very much, a very dear friend of mine is kind of a compulsively obsessed with various kind of stuff :) and since he very recently started to drink ONLY bottled water (even though tapped water in our country is quite good, not excellent but OK) and is considering buying one of those filtered devices but don’t have money for it. Actually, he doesn’t have money for anything since he’s going to graduate in a month and is still very unsuccessfully looking for a job.

So, when I read this I instantly thought of him, how I would like to give him a Bobble present very much. Maybe I even make it for his graduation :) ! And I think he would be very delighted.

  55. Rui March 24, 2010 at 12:19 pm

I coach dozens of young rowers and all of them need to use a bottle of water during trainings. Until now, bottled water has been the only solution to overcome the bad taste of our local tap water. I’m sure the Karim Rashid’s bobble bottle will have a major impact in our (and in other) sports, environment and savings.

  56. hoyun March 24, 2010 at 10:43 am

My bottle that I had forever has sadly perished, lost in this giant world. And I can show this to a friend that always buys bottled water to ween him off it.

  57. Kglor March 24, 2010 at 7:09 am

Hi! I’ve been in the lookout for a practical, well designed, and reusable water bottle for years, and this one caught my eye even before I read about the giveaway! So I knew I *had to* at least try.

The thing is, I truly believe that small, beautiful things like this gorgeous bottles are what is needed nowadays, as they would encourage everyone to lead a greener, healthier, and more mindful life. I know it certainly would help me, and in turn I’d make sure to spread the good karma around. x))

Whoever ends up getting these will be lucky!

  58. sanu March 24, 2010 at 4:32 am

I live in Jakarta, that should explain why I need it.
It’s a not so water friendly environment. Tap water is undrinkable, city’s mainly hot tropical weather makes you looses more fluid on a sunny day. And traffic is even worse, so you may need to walk anyway. So a Bobble is a perfectly logic choice to have in that certain environment. Not to forget the it is cleverly designed and looks like well engineered. Never have a water filter bottle before, I’m curious. I only see them in disaster area for emergency. And the city is harsh enough for street walker like me. Walk vs. cars. Bobble vs. PET bottle, well it’s all very obvious. Perhaps this could also set example to other people on ways we can save environment. who knows. Thanks.

  59. sanu March 24, 2010 at 4:14 am

Well, I currently living in a not so water friendly environment, Jakarta. water is undrinkable, and traffic is bad. I often walk my way home or to office. so I need a bottle of water ready to accompanied me on my long walk. However drinking water is available widely in by water bottling company, but as people understand those PET bottle make a lot of waste. (although some times I reuse them to a certain point) so a Bobble would make a perfectly logical choice. I’m sure this is not just my reason alone, many people share this problem. But I hope I can win them 😀

  60. revit4greenfuture March 24, 2010 at 3:44 am

I NEED this water bottle because my family buys as much organic food as we can to keep toxins out. I like to drink a lot of water and while I am at college during the week, it would be nice to have healthy water there too. I live an hour away from college so I’m away from clean water a lot during the week. I’m also an engineering major who plans to attain LEED certification after become a PE (I’m kinda a green freak). Did I mention I also love innovative things?

  61. duejcm March 24, 2010 at 1:22 am

I need a Bobble just cos the design makes me feel good.

  62. ikeow March 24, 2010 at 12:32 am

I need a bobble because I’m living in Indonesia where there are no safe-to-drink tap water available. I always carry my own refill drinking water, but I’m very mobile. So, my bottle will get empty quickly and when that happen unfortunately buying mineral water will be the most practical solution for me. That’s bad, no? Bobble eqquiped with water filter, right? Therefore I can refill it from any tap water available…

  63. ceejus March 23, 2010 at 11:51 pm

I’ve been holding off on buying a water bottle that will just end up in the cupboard, and then I saw a blog entry about the Bobble written by a friend of mine and maybe literally drooled on myself. At work. And might’ve also sent it to my loved ones suggesting upcoming events when they could get it for me. And then I came across this post. Clearly, this is kismet. I’m excited about it. Help a sistah out.

  64. ClayBigsby March 23, 2010 at 11:42 pm

I would like a Bobble for two main reasons. First off is while I’m a college student majoring in accounting, I’m also a huge fan of design and Karim Rashid’s work. When I’m doing boring tax work, it would be nice to have something that isn’t accounting related to cheer me up. Secondly, I’ve been carrying ice water to class lately in a huge Stanley Thermos. It’s really effective for carrying a lot of water, but it’s hard to pour in class and barely fits in my backpack. Help a student out!

  65. e4r7hbug March 23, 2010 at 10:46 pm

The Bobble is beautiful, functional, and so convenient. I’m constantly on the go on my College campus and refill my canteen from the water fountains all the time. Of course, no one knows what kind of water is coming out of those things, and the plumbing is imaginably old so I would love to have a portable filtration system so I can stay hydrated while I’m venturing to classes and waddling about around town.

  66. cinalob March 23, 2010 at 10:00 pm

This is perfect for my school’s national pledge for KICKING THE BOTTLED WATER HABIT. I want to be the coolest reusable-bobble-bottle-drinker in Ontario College of Art & Design. Please let me flaunt it so that everybody in my school will want it!

  67. jerome arul March 23, 2010 at 9:51 pm

I’m going for a long trip on a sail boat pretty soon to research the garbage patch and i’d really rather not drink my own urine or throw empty plastic bottles overboard.

  68. Arconna March 23, 2010 at 8:12 pm

I absolutely need this because trying to carry a decent supply of clean, filtered water while I’m out teaching and on campus is impossible. This little thing would make my life so much easier, because I could easily filter water on campus, rather than carrying some enormous bottle that is killing me with its particles and what not filled with water I filtered at home…

For me, it’s a life saver (literally and metaphorically).

  69. beebeebee March 23, 2010 at 8:04 pm

I don’t hate plastic bottles I despise them. In the past two & a half weeks I have been picking up plastic bottles (along with cans) while cycling to & from work. It is in a three mile stretch of what should be pristine country lanes. I have collected over 20 bags worth & there is still more work to go. When I am out walking the dog or out & about I also pick up bottles to recycle. They are the bane of my life. The Bobble gives me hope & restores my faith. An object of beauty, recycled, reusable something no one would want to dump, discard, disuse.

  70. moroso March 23, 2010 at 5:25 pm

This bottle is sexi and I need bottle with filter because I drink water just from water tap.

  71. Schmidty March 23, 2010 at 5:19 pm

I have to have one of these amazing bottles because I can show people that going green and becoming responsible doesn’t entail sacrifice. In fact its better than not being green!

I need this bottle with filter because I drink water just from water tap.

  73. chloeeeeeee March 23, 2010 at 5:03 pm

I am an enthusiastic design student based in Brighton, London. I would like this water bottle to bring to the studio and workshop and show fellow students how design should be; sustainable, thoughtful, good looking and above all teach people how to consume better!

  74. dpaul420 March 23, 2010 at 4:14 pm

I have been using the KOR bottles for years now, and have been trying to get everyone in my office to notice and trying to convert them from plastic water bottles. This one seems to lend itself to more questionable water sources, meaning it can go anywhere! Hiking, camping, soccer, etc. A blue one would be awesome!

  75. TannerB March 23, 2010 at 3:22 pm

I will litter the ground with me tears if I am not picked for a free Bobble bottle! I don’t want to litter.

I am a student from Budapest who is very committed to the environment, I have already reduced my carbon footprint in the last few years to 3,1 ha by becoming vegetarian, switching to tap water from bottled mineral water, buying rechargeable batteries, using only reusable shopping bags and switching to selective waste collecting among other things. This year I decided to use my bike for most transportation needs and it would be pretty useful to have one of these bottles in my bottle holder!

  77. tinyviolin March 23, 2010 at 2:49 pm

I need a BOBBLE to give to my mom, who is currently on a six-bottle-a-day habit and insists on buying bottled water! I try to tell her that the tap water in New Orleans is safe now, but she’s still a bit nervous. This bottle just might finally change her mind!

  78. davidalejandros March 23, 2010 at 2:42 pm

I need this bottle because i think it s extremly stupid to buy plastic water in plastic bottles evry time i am thirsty, so i refill muy PET bottle with water but at home we buy water also in big plastic carafes because we cant drink directly from the tap because it is not clean and neither from the water we colect from rain beacuse of th e polution of mexico city. so i was sorprised of this design and this idea and i think we all need one, we can refill it anywhere!
    I need one.

  81. TannerB March 23, 2010 at 2:08 pm

I am going to put my picture on the front of it and make it a BobbleHead Bottle. I have always wanted a Bobblehead that looks like me!

  82. dali137 March 23, 2010 at 1:35 pm

I already use a reusable bottle most of the time but when I am traveling or riding my bike I often have to refill wherever I can. The water in my city comes from the lake and to me, raised on well water, it pretty much tastes like it. I’d love to have a bottle to make even the lake sludge taste good and help me stick to my greening efforts.

  83. clbowlin March 23, 2010 at 1:00 pm

I love it!! What a great idea. I’m a full-time student on a campus that sells bottled water in only a couple of spots anyway. I’m always filling up in some dingy water fountain built in the sixties. I would love one to tag along with me to class!

  84. tjmurphy1s March 23, 2010 at 12:44 pm

    i like bottles!

When designer Mama’s on the go she needs a Bobble for her babies.

  86. cabney March 23, 2010 at 11:56 am

This water bottle is not just environmentally/person friendly but the design is fabulous with it’s sexy curves and pop of color. I would love one!

I’m a full time college student, dealing with 12-hour school days and 40 to 60 minute commutes to school, depending on the traffic. The only source of hydration at my school is A water fountain, or buying drinks from the vending machine. First one’s gross, second one’s expensive and wasteful. I’ve been taking a bottle with me, but it’s unfiltered.

The bottle design is BEAUTIFUL, and as I’m a design student, I’m a sucker for well-designed products. :)

  89. mepriestley March 23, 2010 at 11:41 am

Because I’m going to personally boycott buying bottled water after watching The Story of Bottled Water by the Story of Stuff project: This bottle would help me drink tap water (which is chlorinated in my town, eck) and I could tell people about the Story of Bottled Water when they ask me about my cool, new REUSABLE Bobble water bottle. I have already started to share the video on Twitter and Facebook. Sharing the Bobble bottle would help show one of the ways that people can take part in saving our planet’s tap water.

  90. vilte March 23, 2010 at 11:36 am

Ok, I need this bottle badly! We never get out of home without a bottle of water. We use repurposed bottles from some beveraged we bought some time ago. And it’s not always very comfortable to drink from it, especially for kids who are 2 (almost) and 5 (almost) :) We’ve been looking for some other green option and these bottles by Karim Rasheed would be just a perfect choice! We’ll be going for a trip across Europe this Summer, heading to Italy where it’s so hot and you always get thirsty, I can already imagine my two kids loving these colorful bottles on their trip!

  91. sue63 March 23, 2010 at 11:29 am

I need a Karim Rashid Bobble because I am always trying to educate people on the environmental tragedy of buying and drinking water from disposable plastic water bottles but my 8th grade daughter seems to have a malfunction in her brain where she is not fully understanding my message. I would like to give this bottle to her a make her use it. Hopefully, the design of the bottle will be cool enough for her 8th grade ego. And, everyone should watch, understand and spread this video,

  92. ChristianAce March 23, 2010 at 11:27 am

Inhabitat and Karam Rashid. I have recently seen this and have wanted one to be a light to a dim world. I have been working very hard to get my friends and family off of buying bottled water and trying to get them to use reusable water bottles. This would be a great tool to show them that even tho they have been scared into thinking bottled water is safer and cleaner, water bottles can be reused and reused and cleans the water at the same time 😀
What could be better!? This is a product that could change the way people live and could make life so much more sustainable. BRING ON THE WATER BOBBLE!

  93. outtahr01 March 23, 2010 at 11:08 am

What a great giveaway! I would love a Bobble because then I can encourage my friends and families to reduce their waste by getting one of these great bottles (or any other recyclable bottle). I would take mine everywhere!

  94. Teun March 23, 2010 at 11:05 am

I need it because I am from the Netherlands and have never heard about this bottle, but it sounds great! Therefore I will inform the Netherlands know about this bottle by sending a message to the linked in group (>800 people working in sustainable related businesses) of my company ( And by that hoping to import this bottle immediately to the Dutch supermarkets.
    A tulip in return…

  95. Pascal March 23, 2010 at 10:59 am

I live in Mexico were clean water is not always easy to find. It would be great for small villages to have these water-filtering bottle, avoiding getting sick from wasted water and reduce the cost of a clean and safe drink.

  96. htownjenny March 23, 2010 at 10:47 am

I’d like to eventually have a full set to keep my family of five hydrated and cool throughout the sweltering Houston summer that’s to come.

  97. Jessilyn March 23, 2010 at 10:44 am

I need to win a Bobbie because I am ADDICTED to soda & NEED more water in my life.
Not to mention, I just broke up with the father of my child (how’s that for the sympathy factor?).

  98. Marcelafz March 23, 2010 at 10:39 am

I never leave my home without a water bottle. I live in Spain and I need to drink plenty of water during the day, this
bobble bottle will be my partner forever! it’s been love at the first sight, I mean, sip :)

  99. topchelf March 23, 2010 at 10:29 am

I am originally from VANCOUVER, B.C., where fresh, clean, alpine glacial water flows freely from the mountains straight to my tap at home.

Now, I go to university in Onterrible. I mean Ontario.

The water. tastes. like. soil. Actually.

  100. treelover March 23, 2010 at 10:28 am

I NEED a Bobble! This would be perfect for everything, from hiking to daily activities. It would also be a great way to continue to help reduce the amount of plastic bottles that enter our landfills. Also, as an environmental student I’m sure that my peers at school will love this bobble! Great idea!
