Gallery: Yuken Teruya Transforms a McDonald’s Bag into a Delicate Tree

The hole created from cutting away the tree throws light into the interior of the bag, casting delicate shadows caused by the miniature paper leaves that pepper the tree. What’s more, each tree is left attached to the bag, hanging perfectly inside to appear as if it has taken root.

    Love this idea – it is very sweet – enchanting. But i am struck by the fact that if the bag is not used – the one i see looks like a new bag – it is really just another form of wasting material.
