Gallery: Zoleco Unveils Futuristic 151 MPG Hypermiling Eco Exotic Sport...

The Eco Exotic Sports Car's aggressive curves make it look a bit like a retro spaceship, however this streamlined shape is the key to the vehicle's impressive fuel mileage.

Zoleco‘s goal is to use the least amount of energy while achieving the best possible performance. The Eco Exotic Sports Car‘s aggressive curves make it look a bit like a retro spaceship, however this streamlined shape is the key to the vehicle’s impressive fuel mileage. The car’s drag coefficient is half that of an average small car, which results in an 82% reduction in fuel consumption without any changes to the engine. We’ve seen conventional car’s remodeled to increase their fuel efficiency in the past (Aerocivic anyone?), but it’s great to see a car built from the ground up for fuel efficiency. The Eco Exotic Sports Car will also take advantage of thermal energy recovery and regenerative braking to further increase its mileage. To top it all off, the vehicle’s interior can comfortably seat four people, making it a practical vehicle for everyday use.

Reply to yet another Tim.The photo you see here is the full size design and development model. This is what will be used to build the proof of concept prototype. The dash and interior design is not done at this time.It will be a very flowing representation of what the exterior looks like.At this time I want to build the proof of concept as a Bonneville salt flat racer. This can be developed for about the third the cost of a street version.I have come up with the 150mph/150mpg Challenge to be executed on the salt flats to prove the design architecture of the car. This car can be developed for between 155 and 200k.I have put four years of my spare time and money into this car to date. The project can only continue by aquiring serious development capital. That is my hold up right now. With the proof of concept and Challenge completed we would have established a baseline .It is onto this that the energy efficiency and regen technologies will be applied.I have ads on ebay describing the Challenge and offering to sell the challenge car to an interested buyer. You can also see more details on the car and up coming developments on my website option we are looking at is to incorporate and sell private shares in the company.Should you have any creative ideas in furthering the development of this project please contact me through the website.
    Thank you,Zoltan

So how much is the zoleco and where do you go to get one? Is it a hybred? Regenerative braking is generally for electrics or hybreds. Do you have any pictures of the dash or interior? Is it going to be available in the United States of America or is this another of those cars that only go to Europe?
