We're here at day 2 of the <a title="Inhabitat: 2013 Detroit auto show" href="http://inhabitat.com/index.php?s=detroit+auto+show" target="_blank">2013 North American International Auto Show</a> in Detroit, where carmakers are ramping up the green car reveals with a number of <a title="Inhabitat: hybrid concept car" href="http://inhabitat.com/index.php?s=hybrid+concept+car" target="_blank">hybrid concepts</a>, including <a title="Nissan USA" href="http://www.nissanusa.com" target="_blank">Nissan's</a> new Resonance Concept hybrid crossover, a preview of the next-gen <a title="Nissan Murano" href="http://www.nissanusa.com/murano?next=header.vehicles.postcard.vlp.image" target="_blank">Murano</a>. The concept has many details that won't make it to production, but that doesn't stop us from loving them. The current model Murano comes in regular and droptop versions with a 260-horsepower V-6 engine, and runs between $29,000 and $44,000.

The new model will offer a supercharged 2.5-liter gas engine with an electric motor and two-clutch hybrid technology, but output for the four-wheel-drive vehicle was not revealed.

We love the smooth body lines, boomerang taillights, and pillarless doors with wraparound glass.
