V100 ModBoxMix a little bit of Bladerunner with prefab home design and you get the v100 Mod Box. These ultra modern 10 x 10 x 10 ft prefab cubes could be the next generation of prefab design. Started by Phoenix restaurateur Vincenz Saccento, the v100 Mod Box is a prefab system that can create any size home by connecting together multiple cubes, which are separated by breezeways with translucent glass walls. The Mod Box is futuristic-looking to be sure, but three of these cubes will soon be installed in Phoenix.1
V100 ModBoxThe Mod Box prefab and modular system is based on 10 ft x 10 ft x 10 ft cube units that can be grouped together in any arrangement. The units are separated by 8 x 10 breezeways with glass walls.2
V100 ModBoxThe units are super low maintenance, require no paint and no nails, and can be quickly assembled.3
V100 ModBoxThree Mod Boxes will be installed on a Phoenix infill lot by the end of September and rent for about $1,000 a month.4
V100 ModBoxThe standard model includes two boxes separated by a breezeway. One side includes a kitchen and living space and the other side has a bathroom and bedroom.5
V100 ModBoxThe boxes are designed to be energy and water-efficient, include energy-efficient appliances, and are designed to reach LEED certification.6
V100 ModBoxMod Boxes can come furnished if desired and include a Fagor refrigerator, a toilet, shower, and sinks by Duravit, an induction cooktop, a Tempur-Pedic sofabed, a flat screen TV, and walnut cabinets.7
