A crazy and sustainable community with 8 unique neighborhoods, shopping, night clubs, a boutique hotel and a whole lot more. BOOM Communities is a master planned community located outside of Palm Springs and will include the Inhabitat favorites <a href="http://inhabitat.com/diller-scofidio-renfros-lincoln-center-grassy-remodel-opens-to-public/" target="_blank">Diller Scofidio + Renfro</a>, <a href="http://inhabitat.com/lot-eks-shipping-container-art-school-opens-in-south-korea/" target="_blank">LOT-EK</a> and <a href="http://inhabitat.com/gigantic-parasols-rise-to-shield-seville-from-sun/" target="_blank">J Mayer H</a>. We haven't seen this much of a mix and match of visions and ideas since Epcot, but we can't wait to see it happen.1
BOOMBOOM Communities is expected to begin construction in 2012 and will cost an estimated $250 million.2
