  • poorprouve lamp
Designed by Inhabitat fave, Deger Cengiz, the Poorprouve is a simple wall light fixture inspired by Jean Prouve's classic Potence Lamp. By contrast holding to a more industrial aesthetic, as opposed to streamlined, each Poorprouve has been fashioned from copper plumbing pipes and fittings and based with reclaimed wood. A rotary-dimmer sits recessed within a wood, and a turn-buckle has been added to the tension wire. Each lamp can be extended up to eight feet, and with the help of its rotation arm, pivoted 180 degrees. If you're worried about the incandescent in the photo, you can always swap it out with an LED replacement bulb.
