Lace Apartments by OfisLocated in the center of Nova Gorica, Slovenia, this colorful <a href="http://www.ofis-a.si/default.cfm?Kat=0309&ProdID=73">Lace apartment complex</a> is an energy-efficient building that responds to some of the country’s most extreme weather conditions. Faced with harsh winter winds and scorching hot summers, <a href="http://www.ofis-a.si/">OFIS arhitekti</a> designed the project with a brilliant insulating facade that shades the interior spaces. Functional, adaptive, and modern, the building's a Tetris-esque design consists of different sections that are slotted together to form interesting rectangular shapes1
