Bostonites who come across the Sungevity Ice Pop Truck tomorrow will be treated to a free organic popsicle and an iQuote showing how much it would cost to go solar. The solar power company has outfitted a truck with own panels and is driving around the country giving out freebies and educating people about solar power. Last week the food truck was touring around NYC showing off its biodiesel and solar powered technology and treating people to a range of tasty organic ice pops from GoodPops. Next up, the truck will be in Boston. What with the high temps on the east coast, free organic popsicles and solar power seem like a perfect way to spend a summer day.
