The Best Green Finds from Day 1 of 100% Design at London Design Week

The first day of <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/100-design/">100% Design</a> - just one of the many awesome <a href="http://www.londondesignfestival.com/">London Design Festival</a> exhibits at the Earl's Court Exhibition Center this year - is over, and we are thrilled to give you a roundup of some of our favorite green finds. From a beautiful red Bloom Pendant Light by <a href="http://www.macmasterfurniture.com/index.php/products/bloom/bloom-pendant-light">MacMaster Design</a> made with 100% FSC certified Birch Plywood to a temporary structure made of 99% air by <a href="http://www.inflate.co.uk/Default.aspx?pagename=Turtles-Inflatable-structures">Inflate</a>, this year's projects are energy efficient, light on materials, and high on creativity.

This temporary turtle pavilion by Inflate - which is ideal for catering and other events - has a tiny footprint compared to its counterparts.

Putting together the Origami lamp is like playtime for adults, and it uses energy-efficient lighting!

The Bubble Chandelier looks like something out of the matrix. The materials used can be recycled at the end of their life.

The Nefos light is made from recycled plastic and consumes little energy as it hovers over its intended spaces.

The Kare mini vertical garden by Esterni is comprised of a very absorbent material that slashes water waste.

And finally, Read All About It by Jay Watson is a wonderful stool made 100% out of recycled newspaper!
