HONDA EV-STER Small Sports Car ConceptHonda just unveiled its EV-STER Small Sports Car Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show, and aside from the name, we're already in love with it. The EV-STER is only 59.1 inches wide - just 4 inches wider than Honda's Beat mid-engined convertible micro car it created in the '90s. We love the lines on the EV-STER, and its adaptive suspension that allows you to decide how comfortable or sporty your drive will be (yes, this already exists on large high-end vehicles, but it never makes it to tiny cars like this). But even with the Lamborghini-style convertible roof and the futuristic lighting, the best part about the EV-STER is waiting inside.1
HONDA EV-STER Small Sports Car ConceptAs lighting becomes more flexible and inexpensive to work with, expect to see more and more unique and customizable lighting details on cars--even ones that make it to production.2
Honda EV-STER Small Sports Car ConceptThe Lamborghini style convertible top is the best feature of this tiny electric car, in our opinion. It's hard to get high style on a micro car, but the EV-STER delivers (in all aspects except for its name).3
Honda EV-STER Small Sports Car ConceptTwo kinds of LED lighting contrast here to create a smooth, wraparound front end. This sort of lighting could conceivably make it onto a production car.4
Honda EV-STER Small Sports Car ConceptWe love the joystick steering system, which would make driving more like piloting a plane.5
Honda EV-STER Small Sports Car ConceptBrightly colored driver seats are all the rage right now, and we say why not? Note how the seat belt matches the seat, as well.6
Honda EV-STER Small Sports Car ConceptThe infotainment screen allows you to select the firmness of the suspension for a sporty or comfortable ride. This system is already available in many Audis and Mercedes, so it wouldn't be difficult to fit one here--just expensive.7
