Finding a fresh, vegan and affordable place to eat in Buenos Aires -- a city famous for its meat -- is no easy task. Although Picnic is a fast-food restaurant, it purchases its produce fresh and local everyday and makes all of its food on site.

An ivy-covered logo on its door, mix-match vintage furniture, organic fabrics with water-based ink patterns, plants everywhere and low-energy or natural light, Picnic's interiors are as green as their menu. 

The fast-food restaurant also periodically holds eco-design fairs and organic gardening workshops for the public.
