Finnish Micro-cabin Nido, by Robin FalckRobin Falck became tired of daydreaming about building his dream home, so he set about creating his very own lakeside cabin in the beautiful Finnish countryside. The design had to be small enough to be built without a permit (which in Finland is a humble 96 - 128 sq. ft). After sketching out some ideas and enlisting the help of an architect, construction began in the summer of 2010 - and the project was finished within a couple of weeks for just $10,500! The result is this stunning and simple micro-cabin which Falck has lovingly termed 'Nido' - Italian for bird's nest.1
